1. Authorized use only
You may use PentSeal only to test systems that you own or that you have explicit, documented permission to test. You are responsible for obtaining and keeping that authorization before any check runs. You must not use PentSeal against third-party systems without permission.
2. Acceptable use
PentSeal performs read-only, externally visible checks (TLS, DNS, HTTP) against targets you add. You agree not to attempt to use the product to cause damage, disruption, or denial of service, and to respect the scope and testing window recorded in each engagement.
3. No warranty
PentSeal is provided during an early pilot “as is” and without warranties of any kind. A check result or an exported report reflects what was tested at the time it ran; it is not a guarantee that a system is secure, and it is not an attestation or certification. You are responsible for validating results before relying on them.
4. Your data
Engagement, asset, finding, and evidence data you enter belongs to you. During a pilot, data is stored in the deployment you are testing against. Use the product only for data you are permitted to store, and avoid entering unnecessary sensitive information.
5. Pilot terms
Pilot access is provided for evaluation. Features described as “not yet available” in the documentation may change, and there is no service-level agreement during the pilot.
