Home / Alternatives / Dradis
Dradis is a long-standing, extensible reporting platform with a strong open-source core — but it is self-hosted only, and its commercial plans start at three seats billed yearly. If you are leaving for a hosted option, a lower seat count or a different authorization story, this is the shortlist.
Last updated: October 10, 2026. Pricing and hosting figures below are read from each vendor’s own pricing page on that date.

Self-hosted vs SaaS is stated as each vendor describes it. Verify specifics before deciding; pricing changes. Focused write-ups: PentSeal vs Dradis and PlexTrac alternatives.
If you must self-host: stay with Dradis or Dradis Community, or self-host SysReptor or AttackForge. Hosting here is not a preference, it is a constraint, and a SaaS tool cannot satisfy it.
If you need SaaS: SysReptor’s cloud, AttackForge and PentSeal are hosted options. Dradis is not, by design.
If you want open source: Ghostwriter and Dradis Community are free and open source; SysReptor offers a free self-hosted community edition. All three trade vendor support for you running the infrastructure.
If your bottleneck is authorization: most reporting platforms record findings well and treat permission as a process outside the tool. PentSeal inverts that — the scan cannot run without verified ownership and a signed scope. If that is not your problem, it is not your fix.
